I Want To Hear From YOU!!!

Interviews on Your Relationship with Goddess(es) and Animals

Dear Beloveds,

I am creating an exhibit for the National Museum of Animals and Society on Goddess Spirituality and Animals as part of their larger exhibit “Rightful Relations: Nonhuman Animals and World Religions” curated by religious scholar Dr. Lisa Kemmerer.

Your experience working with goddesses is an integral part of this exhibit, as I wish to represent our community’s full richness and vitality. I would love to hear from people of all genders and backgrounds.  So, I am interviewing people who consider themselves Goddess Spirituality practitioners, or may identify as a different religion, but work with goddesses in some ways.

It will only take 10-30 minutes, depending on how much you wish to share. Interviews can be done in-person and on the phone.

This week, we will be doing interviews in-person for women only at The Goddess Temple of Orange County, Sunday, October 4th from 1-3 located at 17905 Sky Park Circle, Suite A, Irvine 92614. You can either just show up, or sign up for a time slot in advance via emailing me at Charlotte.Cressey@gmail.com.

In addition to this, please email me at Charlotte.Cressey@gmail.com if you are available for a phone interview or would like to arrange an in-person interview for a different time.

Sample questions for the interview include:

  • How did you get into Goddess Spirituality?

  • Can you tell me about your relationship to the Goddess or Goddesses in your day-to-day life? Do you see Her or them as a model for you? Why or why not?

  • Are there any ethical guidelines you can infer from Goddess Spirituality in general and/or as it relates to animals?

  • Has Goddess Spirituality influenced your connection to free-living or domesticated animals?

I look forward to hearing from you all! Feel free to reach out with questions at (949) 667-0693 or Charlotte.Cressey@gmail.com.

With love and gratitude,

Charlotte
